❚❚ S Shutter-Priority Auto

In shutter-priority auto, you choose the shutter speed while the

camera automatically selects the aperture that will produce the

optimal exposure. Use slow shutter speeds to suggest motion

by blurring moving subjects, fast shutter speeds to “freeze”

motion.

Choosing a Shutter Speed

Use the X and W buttons to choose from

shutter speeds between 30 s and

16,000 s.

Press X for faster shutter speeds, W for

slower shutter speeds.

Fast shutter speed (

1600 s) Slow shutter speed (1 s)

Continuous Shooting

The selected shutter speed may change if the frame rate for continuous

shooting (0 87) is 15 fps or more.
