What the UT-1 Can Do for You
This manual describes how to connect to a network and upload
pictures to a computer or ftp server or control the camera
remotely using Camera Control Pro 2. Use the UT-1 to connect to
Ethernet networks, or connect to wireless networks by attaching a
WT-5 to the UT-1.
Before connecting the UT-1 to a D800 or D800E, check that the camera
firmware is version A 1.10/B 1.10 or later and the UT-1 firmware version
2.0 or later. Earlier firmware will need to be updated to the latest
version; for more information, visit the websites listed on page xiii.
Before using the UT-1 network function, connect the camera to a
network.

Wireless Networks
Connect to wireless networks using a WT-5 wireless transmitter (06).
